It's being shaped by what you celebrate, what you tolerate, what you prioritize, how you develop people, how you handle difficult conversations, and even how you rehearse.
Your team is constantly learning: this is what matters here.
The question isn't whether you're building a culture. It's whether you're building the culture you actually want.
What if the culture of your worship ministry wasn't something that just happened by accident, but something you learned to build intentionally?
This fall, we're going to work on that together.
WhO is it for?
This cohort is for worship pastors and leaders who want to think beyond the next Sunday and become more intentional about the ministry they're building.
Maybe your ministry is healthy, but you've never clearly defined what you want your culture to be.
Maybe you've inherited a team and you're trying to figure out how to lead it forward without changing everything overnight.
Maybe there are parts of your culture you love and other parts you know need attention.
Or maybe you're simply realizing that good songs, talented musicians and well-planned services aren't enough to build a healthy worship ministry.
You don't need to lead a large church or have a certain title to join us.
You just need to be responsible for leading people and have a desire to build something healthy that lasts.

Over the course of the cohort, we'll work through the practical and pastoral realities of building a healthy worship culture.
We'll explore things like:
Defining your culture
Getting clear about what you actually want your ministry to value and become.
Building healthy expectations
Creating clarity around preparation, commitment, communication, excellence and accountability without creating an unhealthy or demanding environment.
Developing people
Moving beyond filling positions on a schedule and learning to intentionally develop leaders, musicians and people.
Creating spiritual depth
Thinking about the spiritual formation of your team and how worship ministry can become a place where people are being discipled, not simply utilized.
Building trust and ownership
Creating a culture where people feel known, valued, challenged and invited to take responsibility for what you're building together.
Creating rhythms that reinforce your values
Looking at rehearsals, Sundays, communication, team gatherings, feedback and other systems that quietly shape your culture over time.
You'll also receive practical resources, guided exercises, group conversations and space to apply what we're discussing directly to your own church context.
The outcome
The goal isn't to copy someone else's worship culture. It's to become more intentional about building yours.
By the end of our time together, you'll have greater clarity around what you want your worship ministry to become and a practical plan for moving it in that direction.
You'll leave with your own Worship Culture Blueprint—a working framework that identifies your values, expectations, team rhythms, development priorities and the next steps you can begin implementing in your church.
But more than another document sitting on your computer, my hope is that you'll leave seeing your ministry differently.
Not simply as a service that needs to be planned every week, but as a group of people you're being entrusted to lead, develop and pastor.
Because ultimately, culture isn't something you write down.
It's something you build.
